Attire
MDS supplies dance shoes. We’ve found it is much easier to fit shoes and maintain them when our dancers are wearing the same brands. The $20 registration fee covers the first pair, and every pair following is swapped out for free after that. We’ve also found this cuts down on waste because most shoes (especially tap!) can be worn much longer than the dancer can fit into them. It’s also a HUGE savings to parents who won’t have to replace each pair of shoes after they get too small!
If a dancer loses a shoe, or returns a pair that has been damaged past the point of use a $20 fee will be applied to the account to cover a new set of shoes and then restart the swap program.
Leotards and tights are worn at each class and are supplied by the family, but links with purchasing directions will be provided.

Drop Off/Pick Up
We strongly encourage guardians to drop off and pick up children (especially elementary and older) and will have a desk attendant at the street entrance to let dancers in and make sure they are picked up after class.
For guardians who wish to stay for class we have a waiting area but ask that devices are silenced and conversations are quiet. It is very distracting to our classes when the waiting area is loud and exciting.

Financial Assistance
Our goal is to share our love of dance with as many students as possible. Our tuition is the lowest in the area, and we offer our shoe swap program, but we understand dance can still be an expensive activity for many families. If you are interested in dance but need financial assistance please reach out to Rachel.
Photography and Social Media
Staff will photograph dancers during MDS classes and events, but guardians have the option to opt out of social media sharing.
Tuition
Try it out! We strongly encourage new dancers to try a class before making the first tuition payment. We are very confident your child will love our classes, but if not at least you haven’t lost money!
