Level One Dance is offered twice a week. Dancers can register for only one class but are strongly encouraged to attend both weekly classes. One night focuses on Ballet/Tap while the other focuses on Ballet/Jazz. Students will continue learning techniques and terminology while having more time to focus on each style. 
Class Goals:
  • Continue working towards traditional ballet class structure participating in barre, center and traveling activities.
  • Apply basic knowledge of jazz terminology to more challenging combinations that travel or stay in center. Continue to develop the flow of jazz class structure. 
  • Use tap vocabulary to combine steps in developing combinations increasing skill level in rhythm and sounds. 
  • Learn and retain recital choreography for a ballet, tap and jazz routine in the spring recital.

Leotard, Tights, Black Tap Shoes, Black Jazz Shoes and Pink Ballet Shoes
Attire can be purchased through the studio after registration.
